Client Profile Production House Visual Identity

< Back to Insights

We always like to check back in with our clients a few months after a project has finished, to see how our designs are working out for them. This particular project saw the creation of a new visual identity for an east London post production house, Hijack. Heres what they had to say:

Please tell me a little bit about Hijack and the type of clients you work with? HIJACK are a boutique post production and DIT company servicing the film and television industry. We have several years of experience in the industry, we brought this together in 2017 and formed HIJACK. We are driven by our enthusiasm for the creative process. We are inspired by our clients and the exciting and varied projects that we are involved in.

Any company values or highlights that you want to share with us? We value our clients and work closely with them to support their creative vision. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and developing innovative workflow solutions. We recently provided digital workflow, online, finishing and deliverables for Sally Potter’s ‘The Party’ which has had great reviews. We completed the colour grade, online, finishing and deliverables for Khalo Matabane’s first feature film ‘The Number’ which is currently doing really well on the festival circuit. We have worked on several of John Akomfrah’s film installations, providing colour grading and deliverables. This work has been shown in galleries all over the world including Tate Modern London, MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) New York and San Francisco, the Venice Biennale and the Sharjah Biennial

What was your vision for the brand identity and how has Collective Works helped with this? We wanted to develop a brand with impact and a strong logo that incorporated our new company name. Within the company we had differing ideas about the look but Collective Works took all of our input on board and came up with an identity that we are all really happy with.

Why did you feel Collective Works were right for the project? We felt that Collective Works really understood our brand and the industry that we work in. There was great chemistry and we were really excited by their ability to translate our ideas into something new.

Anything else you would like to tell us? Collective Works developed our logo and supported us through the process of creating new marketing materials to strengthen our overall brand and identity. They were focused, communicative and understood our need to get the details right. They have really encapsulated our brand and created materials that truly reflect who we are and what we do.

Let’s have a chat about your vision and
how we can help you realise it.
