Wallpaper* Magazine

< Back to Insights

Back in January, we had the privilege of being featured in Wallpaper* magazine’s Rising Stars issue. It was an absolute honour to be one of ten architectural practices that Wallpaper* described as Ground Breakers – “These founders are the new faces of a changing industry.” We were thrilled to be featured alongside our good friends at Matter Space Soul and Gbolade Design Studio along with other great company. It was a fantastic way to start the year, and has set the bar for the rest of 2021!

In our interview titled The Ethical Practice Explorers, we discussed Collective Work’s approach to architectural production, our practice ethos and our ongoing contribution to the development of the RIBA’s 2021 Ethics Curriculum. We also gave a short insight into our most recent portfolio of works including UpSideDown House and our maker’s workshop in Highgate which explores the relationship between humans and nature.

“We wanted a studio that could embrace flexible working, allow everyone to inform the final outcome and be better connected to the communities it served, but without sacrificing design quality”
