The Cookery School

< Back to projects

The Underground Cookery School caters to groups and corporate clients, offering meeting spaces and team-building cookery classes, following which guests sit and eat together to enjoy a meal that they have prepared. Product Designer James Plant was appointed to rethink the lighting and teamed up with Collective Works to take on the transformation of the whole interior concept.  The refurbishment focuses on the transition from functional meeting room to intimate dining space and creating a premium space for dining next to the excitement of a working professional kitchen.

The team delivered the concept design, bespoke lighting and furniture, joinery and colour scheme, graphic design of a cookery book, food styling for promotional shoots and sign painting.
